About Mt. Kim Martial Arts

Our dedicated Staff
Instructor Andrew has spent many years devoted to training in the art of Tae Kwon Do and other martial arts and has attained a certain level of expertise to qualify him as a teacher and also a mentor.

Through extensive education, training and testing, our staff takes pride in the responsibility of sharing their skill and passing it on to their students.

Master Andrew Gause

Master Andrew Gause has been training in the art of Taekwondo since 1989.

Andrew's greatest pride is in empowering his students with self-esteem, goal setting and the ability to focus their energy positively.

He received his 1st Dan Black belt in 1992 and began instructing in 1994. Along the way to earning his 4th Dan Black Belt in 2005, he has won numerous Mountain Kim Grand Championships, State tournaments and was also a Co-National Champion in 1997.

In addition to training in Tae Kwon Do, Andrew has experience in many other styles of martial arts such as Judo, Hapkido, Aikido, Kung Fu, Kickboxing, Kobudo and Gumdo.

Andrew graduated with a BBA in Marketing from James Madison University. But what Andrew takes most pride in is his teaching.

"It's not what I have achieved, but what I can get my students to achieve that drives me. And to have such an impact on so many people in so many different ways is what makes this profession so worthwhile.”

This philosophy definitely shows-- as Ravensworth Mountain Kim Martial Arts received the Top 10 Martial Arts School Award from AMS (a martial arts consulting group) in 2005 and 2006 which consists of hundreds of martial art schools nationwide. We proud and appreciative."
