Through extensive education, training and testing, our staff takes pride in the responsibility of sharing their skill and passing it on to their students.
Andrew Gause Master Instructor
Master Andrew Gause has been training in the art of Taekwondo since 1989.
Master Andrew's greatest pride is in developing his students mentally, physically and emotionally so that they become successful not only at "kicking and punching" but successful in life as well.
He received his 1st Degree Black Belt in 1992 and began instructing in 1994. Along the way to earning his 6th Degree Black Belt in 2013, he has won numerous Grand Championships, State tournaments and was also a Co-National Champion in 1997.
Master Andrew is a Kukkiwon Certified Master Instructor. In addition to training in Taekwondo, Master Andrew has earned his 1st Degree Black Belt in Judo and Haidong Gumdo. He has experience in many other styles of martial arts such as; Hapkido, Aikido, Kung Fu, Kickboxing, and Kobudo.
Andrew graduated with a BBA in Marketing from James Madison University. But what Andrew takes most pride in is his teaching.
"It's not what I have achieved, but what I can get my students to achieve that drives me. And to have such an impact on so many people in so many different ways is what makes this profession so worthwhile."
This philosophy definitely shows-- as Andrew Gause's Martial Arts received the Top 10 Martial Arts School Award from AMS (a martial arts consulting group) twice, has received the "Most Inspiring Instructor" award from EFC (a martial arts consulting group) in 2012 and is consistently ranked in the top 5% of martial art schools nationwide in regards to enrollment and retention.
As well, Andrew has been invited numerous times to be a speaker at the EFC MPower Summit, where he has been able to share his knowledge and present information on topics to other school owners and their staff.
